I am a classical guitarist, lutenist, and music teacher living in Forest Hills, Queens, New York.   I perform as a soloist, in my trio, Third Person Narrative, and in the newly formed Duo Raccontare with soprano, Kathleen O'Rourke. I also perform as a continuo player on period instruments with MusicaHumana in New York City and Sinfonia Spirituosa based in Sacramento, California.

I currently teach from my home studio in Queens, at New York City Guitar School, Brooklyn Guitar School, New York City Guitar School in Manhattan and the Great Neck Music Conservatory. I accept students of varying levels and interests; my approach to teaching is extremely adaptable, yet provides an effective structure for continual progress at each stage.

I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Stony Brook University, where I focused on rarely performed works from the 17th through 21st centuries on theorbo, 19th century guitar and modern guitar. I am currently writing a music theory book for young guitarists and I update my website weekly. Please check back soon for more information.
